Acceptance Card

Welcome to another day of winter chilly bliss.  As I nervously go solo creating my first  unassisted post.  This being my second attempt, when everything I had typed went to érror' page cannot be found.

As I look out my window to view blue skies the wind whipping around my largely monocrhomatic yard without a skerick of flower or rose, I realise that I pretty much like it that way.  And I tend to enjoy creating cards mostly in monochromatic tones.

This was an Acceptance Card for my dear Sister In Laws Wedding held earlier this year.  Cream with a touch of vintage was perfect.  I utilised the elements from my Monthly Challenge - Vintage Romance kit.  A mountain fold A5 Card with a matting of cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder.  The damask pattern on the left was from a vintage wall paper I rescued from an op shop when I was redoing a friends bedroom.  I created and printed out my own "Love" definitions distressing and inking the edges.  Then simply added a row of ribbon flowers topped with a heart.

A phone call I hurriedly cut short,  a you hoo at my back door I quickly send on their way, and even the craft package delivered to my front door I quickly accept and put it aside in the hope of finishing off my first solo post.  So fingers crossed hoping that I have clicked on everything I needed to.  Trying to remember the tags, labels and how to add pics.....I am sure with practice and a lot of time I will manage a half decent blog as I also learn how to take decent pics of my created cards before they are sent on their way to a new home and not just sit idly in pretty boxes....

Have a great day everyone....
